Magnetic Particle Inspection
(MT)

MPI or MT is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as cast iron, carbon steel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. The process puts a magnetic field into the part.

Standard Wet Flourescent and Dry Powder Magnetic Particle follows reference specification ASME Section V with the acceptance standards of B31.1 or B31.3 ASME Section VIII, Div. 1.

Radiography Inspection
(RT)

Radiography is a non-invasive inspection and is used to produce a visual image of the item on a radiographic film.  We provide mobile service using a portable exposure device of Iridium 192, or can provide an in-house service generating x-rays with an x-ray tube.

Radiography follows the Reference Specifications of ASME Section V, and the acceptance standards of B 31.1 B 31.3, ASME Section VIII, and Weld Qualifications ASME Section IX.

Ultrasonic Inspection
(UT)

UT uses high frequency sound energy to conduct inspections and make measurements. UT can be used for flaw detection in welds, plate laminations and shaft inspections.  Material thickness evaluations can also be conducted in storage tanks and piping.
The Ultrasonic inspection follows the Reference Specifications of ASME Section V, along with the clients approved parameters of certification.

Liquid Penetrant Inspection
(PT)

LPI or PT inspection is a method to find surface breaks or defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics), this is an excellent way to quickly determine if welds are acceptable to standards.
Liquid Penetrant Inspection follows the Reference Specifications of ASME Section V, and the acceptance standards of B 31.1 B 31.3 and ASME Section VIII, DIV. I.

Hoisting Inspection

We offer detailed, easy to follow inspection reports on every component found on a manufacturing floor.  Everything from: Fork Lifts, Cranes, and Hoisting Devices, to the smaller components such as as: chainfalls, slinger chain, and nylon slings, etc.
Our experienced team is able to work with your staff to maximise efficiency, and ensure the findings are reported quickly. Potential repair items are noted during the inspection, allowing for repair and certification during the same visit.
